Welcome to PetMira (hereinafter referred to as "the Application"). This Agreement is concluded between you (hereinafter referred to as "User" or "you") and the operator (hereinafter referred to as "we"). We value your privacy and personal information security. Please read this Policy carefully before using the Application to understand how we collect, use, store, share and protect your information, as well as the rights you can exercise and the operation methods. This Policy, together with the User Service Agreement, constitutes the complete agreement between you and us. We will update this Policy when necessary and announce it within the Application.

I. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to all activities of collecting or processing personal information through the Application, covering the personal data processing chain of all mobile terminal functions, and also includes all operations such as collection, processing, storage and sharing of personal information related to all AI functions in the Application (pet vocalization translation, emotion analysis, AI pet expert dialogue, pet health image analysis). In case of any inconsistency between this Policy and the User Service Agreement at the intersection, the description of relevant details in this Policy shall prevail.

II. How We Collect Personal Information

In accordance with relevant laws, regulations and national standards, we process your personal information only under the following circumstances:

1.Obtaining your explicit consent (such as authorizing camera, microphone and album permissions);

2.Necessary for the performance of the service contract with you (realizing local functions of the Application);

3.Necessary for maintaining the safe and stable operation of the services provided;

4.Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.

Except for the above statutory circumstances, we will not process your personal information in any other way.

III. Types of Data We May Collect

The Application follows the principle of minimum necessity. Only after you actively use the functions and authorize the permissions, the following data is generated/processed locally on the device, and the data will not leave your device:

1.Data related to device permissions

￮Microphone audio data: Audio recorded when using pet vocalization translation, vocalization type and emotion analysis;

￮Speech recognition data: Used for voice dialogue and pet vocalization recognition analysis;

￮Camera image data: Images of pets taken;

￮Album image data: Photos selected from the album.

2.Data generated by local functions

￮Pet profile information: Manually filled information such as name, breed, age and avatar;

￮AI function result data: Translation results, emotion analysis, health analysis reports and AI dialogue records.

3.Basic data for application operation

￮Application crash logs and operation status data (only used for local function repair, not uploaded).

IV. Purposes of Data Use

We use data in accordance with the principles of necessity, minimization and transparency, only for realizing the corresponding local functions of the Application, and not for any other purposes:

1.Pet vocalization translation, vocalization type and emotion analysis: Use microphone audio data to complete local AI calculation, generate results and store them locally;

2.Pet profile management: Store pet information, support multi-pet switching, editing and viewing;

3.AI pet health analysis: Use camera/album images to complete local AI analysis and generate maintenance reference opinions;

4.AI pet expert dialogue: Store dialogue content, ensure context coherence and display local historical records;

5.Application function optimization: Use local crash logs to fix faults and improve operation stability. We will not collect or use sensitive permission data for purposes unrelated to the core functions of the Application, nor will we require you to use the service on the premise of forcibly enabling a certain permission.

V. Permission Description and Principle of Minimization

1.Principle of minimization: We only collect data necessary for realizing the functions of the Application, and do not collect additional sensitive data for secondary functions or commercial purposes. Non-essential permissions are optional, and you can turn them off in device settings at any time.

2.Rules for using sensitive permissions: All sensitive device permissions (camera, album, microphone) related to AI functions will not be enabled by default, and can only be used after your explicit authorization when you use specific functions.

3.Specific permission description

￮Microphone permission: Only used for recording pet vocalizations. Refusal will make the vocalization translation function unavailable, but will not affect other functions;

￮Speech recognition permission: Only used for inputting voice to dialogue with AI agents and recognizing and analyzing pet vocalizations. Refusal will make the corresponding functions unavailable, but will not affect other functions;

￮Camera permission: Only used for taking pet images. Refusal allows you to use the album image selection function;

￮Album permission: Only used for reading selected pet photos. Refusal allows you to use the shooting function.

VI. User Consent and Withdrawal

1.Explicit consent: Before collecting or accessing sensitive information (audio, images, photos), we will solicit your explicit consent through an independent pop-up window.

2.Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw camera, microphone and album authorizations in system settings at any time. After withdrawal, the relevant optional functions will stop, but the legality of local data processed based on legal consent before will not be affected.

VII. Data Storage and Deletion

1.Local priority: All data is stored locally on your device by default, with no cloud storage or server backup.

2.Data storage period: Determined by you independently. You can delete the Application or local data at any time, which cannot be recovered after deletion.

3.Data deletion: You can manually delete pet profiles, translation records, dialogue records, photos and analysis reports. After uninstalling the Application, local data will be processed according to system rules, and we will not retain any data.

VIII. Data Processing and Cross-Border Transfer

1.The data processing location of the Application is the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.

2.The Application may involve cross-border transfer of personal information; all data generated by your use of the Application is stored locally on your device, and we do not actively collect, upload or transfer any local data of users.

3.We strictly abide by the data protection laws and regulations of Chinese mainland, Hong Kong region of China and the regions where the Application is listed, adopt security protection measures such as encryption and anonymization, complete cross-border transfer in accordance with the principle of minimum necessity, and never transfer any data beyond the statutory scope.

4.Your use of the Application is deemed as your awareness and consent to the above data processing and data transmission rules.

IX. Third-Party Sharing, Disclosure and Compliance Requirements

1.Sharing principle: We will not share, sell, transfer or disclose your local data, permission data and function-generated data to any third party, and there is no external data transmission behavior.

2.Use of third-party SDKs: The Application only accesses locally operated third-party SDKs/basic components for system adaptation and stable operation. Such SDKs do not collect, process or upload user data. The specific list is shown in Appendix I.

3.Data protection agreement: We sign data processing agreements with third-party SDK developers, requiring them to adopt security protection measures and use data only for agreed purposes.

4.Description of data sharing with third-party AI services
To provide you with the following functions, the Application will call the API interfaces of third-party AI services. The specific description is as follows:

Important Notice
The above third-party AI services are provided by independent service providers, and their data processing behaviors are subject to their own privacy policies.
We will only send the corresponding data to third parties when you actively use the above functions. Without your explicit permission, we will not send any data in advance or in the background.
When you use the above functions for the first time, we will explain the data transmission situation to you through a pop-up window and solicit your consent. You have the right to refuse. Refusal will make the corresponding functions unavailable, but will not affect other functions.

X. Minors' Privacy

The Application does not provide services to minors under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected and processed personal information of minors under the age of 18 without obtaining the valid and explicit consent of guardians, we will immediately terminate the processing of such information and delete it in a timely manner.

XI. Data Security Protection Measures

We adopt reasonable technical and management measures to protect data security:

1.Local data is stored with industry-standard encryption to prevent illegal reading;

2.All AI calculations and data processing are completed locally on the device, with no network transmission risk;

3.We do not collect or contact users' local data, eliminating data leakage from the source;

4.Regularly carry out security assessments and compliance audits to ensure the safe and stable operation of the Application.

XII. Disclaimer

You clearly know and voluntarily agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, the following disclaimer clauses apply to the use of the Application and data processing related matters, and all risks are borne by you. We do not assume any compensation or legal liability:

1.All user data, pet information, AI records and image materials of the Application are stored locally on your personal device. We have no cloud backup, cannot retrieve or recover data. We are not liable for any data leakage, loss or damage caused by device loss, damage, flashing, system failure, accidental deletion, device intrusion, virus attack and other reasons.

2.All artificial intelligence output contents of the Application, such as pet vocalization AI translation, pet emotion AI analysis, AI health assessment and AI pet expert Q&A, are generated based on existing algorithm models and sample data. Affected by multiple factors such as shooting environment, audio quality, pet status, device differences and algorithm limitations, they cannot be guaranteed to be completely accurate, effective and professional. All AI results are only for daily fun reference and maintenance science reference, do not have any professional effect, and cannot be used as the basis for any professional judgment.

3.The AI health analysis function of the Application is only for daily reference. It cannot replace professional opinions. Users shall make their own judgments and bear all responsibilities.

4.You independently authorize device permissions, independently take and upload pet images, independently fill in pet information, and independently use various functions. All disputes and losses caused by your illegal operation, malicious use, incorrect information filling, and unauthorized disposal of data shall be borne by you. If the images and audio content you upload involve infringement of others' privacy, portrait rights, intellectual property rights or violation of laws and regulations, the relevant legal liabilities shall be borne by the user.

5.Third-party services: The third-party basic operation components and SDKs accessed by the Application are only used to ensure the basic operation of the Application. We do not make any guarantees for the security, stability and accuracy of third-party services. We are not liable for function failure or data abnormality caused by third-party component failures, vulnerabilities and exceptions.

6.Function abnormality disclaimer: We are not liable for repair or compensation for application flash crashes, failures, analysis failures or record abnormalities caused by external reasons such as device system compatibility problems, abnormal system permissions, network environment and device hardware failures.

XIII. User Rights and Exercise Methods

You have the right to exercise the following rights within the scope permitted by law:

1.Access/correction/deletion: Independently view, modify and delete all application data locally on the device;

2.Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw device permission authorization in system settings at any time;

3.Right to know/right to inquiry: Contact us for consultation on the content of this Policy.

We will respond to your request within 15 working days after verifying your identity.

XIV. Dispute Resolution

1.The conclusion, performance and interpretation of this Policy shall be governed by the laws of the mainland of the People's Republic of China.

2.Disputes arising from this Policy shall be settled through friendly negotiation by both parties first; if negotiation fails, either party has the right to submit to the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission for arbitration in accordance with its then effective rules. The arbitration place is Guangzhou, and the arbitration award is final.

XV. Privacy Policy Updates

We may revise this Policy in accordance with laws and regulations, platform rules and business optimization. Major changes will be announced within the Application and will take effect after the announcement. Your continued use of the Application is deemed as your consent to the updated Policy.
